Sify Technologies at the India Cloud Summit 2022

Summit Overview

Sify Technologies Limited., recently participated as a presenting partner in the CIO.inc India Cloud Summit 2022 – (Delhi, Bengaluru & Mumbai) to discuss the future of cloud and the challenges around delivering successful digital transformation. The summit featured business leaders, cloud innovators and technologists across the industry.

The Summit was followed by an exclusive & interactive CXO roundtable on: “Efficient Cloud Migration for Cloud-native, Future-ready Business”. Attendees exchanged ideas, and experiences over wine and cheese. 

The Cloud Context

Today, most organizations adopt a multi cloud or hybrid cloud strategy to unleash the power of the platform and take advantage of best-of-breed solutions for improved business outcomes.

Cloud computing has come a long way from its initial days as a basic substitute for quicker infrastructure provisioning to the point where developers began utilizing it for agility and quicker time-to-market to the point where it is now maybe seen as the direction of information technology. Businesses can no longer ignore advancements in cloud computing as they become essential to growing businesses and transforming customer experiences.

In addition to providing more efficiency, scalability, and security, it is quickly emerging as a more affordable option for traditional on-premises infrastructure for companies of all kinds. Cloud computing is inevitable as edge computing, AI, and IoT take center stage. Like any technology, cloud has its share of problems and issues. IT organizations face multiple challenges as they begin their cloud transformation journey including workload migration, data modernization, manageability of multi-cloud environments, monitoring cloud sprawl, and data security.

Summit Highlights

The day-long event featured industry and technology leaders sharing their thoughts and viewpoints on diverse topics like:

• Business Transformation: How cloud-based platforms help conventional businesses in gaining agility to transform themselves into Enterprises of the Future
• Does cloud address the demands of a legacy business and promote growth?
• Re-balancing through re-calibration: CIOs operationalizing pandemic-era innovation
• Cloud Economics: Are CXOs falling for baits?
• Is cloud taking center stage?

The participants included CXOs from 400+ organizations across 3 cities like GSK, Honeywell, Eureka Forbes, Walmart, HDFC Securities Ltd. and of course, Sify Technologies.

On the side-lines, we also hosted a CXO roundtable with Amazon Web Services (AWS) which featured 10 CXOs from every region to further deliberate on ‘Efficient Cloud Migration for Cloud-native, Future-ready Business’

Digitization is a driving priority for business leaders across industries and sectors. The need for greater agility and faster innovation has made cloud infrastructure - the most attractive option to fulfil the digital transformation agenda.

• Challenges of migrating and modernizing mission-critical workloads in cloud
• Intelligent approaches to process & governance issues in managing disparate cloud environments

The Summary

Overall, it was a great experience and an opportunity to network with like-minded people from various organizations on the most important aspects of cloud. Sify looks forward to participating in the summit again next year with some more valuable learnings and insights gathered over the year.
